This playful ‘Happy Cake Day’ all occasion, birthday greeting card has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. The highly detailed drawing portrays a bright blue cake covered in colourful sprinkles, and the word DAY written across the front. Above the cake hovers the word HAPPY, formed from layers of cake with pink and blue icing holding it together. The word CAKE is held up by sticks above the cake, as if they are candles. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this birthday card has a bright colour palette, using bold blue, dark pink, and hints of yellow, red and white.
