This whimsical wall art print titled ‘The Lighthouse’ is a single print set that has been hand illustrated using fine liner pens, digitally coloured, and printed in Melbourne by The Nonsense Maker. Available in A4 and A3 size, this highly detailed drawing portrays a tall white lighthouse built on a dark rocky cliff by the ocean. The sky behind is moody dark blue grey, a striking contrast to the bright white and yellow of the lighthouse. A stream of birds flock from the highest point as if they are a beam of light coming from the lighthouse. Inspired by a dreamlike world where little is what it seems, this art print has a dark colour palette, using brown, dark green and grey-blue, with highlights of bright white and yellow.
